I would like it to stay away from just a simple history overview of samba in Brazil, but rather a little more specific of a direction – it can go in any direction. Marks will be given out in accordance with a well-formed essay. Attention should be paid to your thesis statement/ opening argument/hypothesis. The paragraphs following the opening statement should be supportive to the thesis and flow progressively. The conclusion should re-confirm the thesis statement and also further the initial argument in some way.
